About us Mark Franich

Mark has over 30 years marketing experience working for blue chip companies and as a brand specialist has worked with businesses to identify their key strengths and unique attributes to create strong marketable brands.

Mark is experienced in all aspects of marketing communications from planning and strategy to hands-on campaign and project management across brand management, advertising (TV, Print, Radio, Online, Outdoor), direct marketing, digital marketing, trade promotions, PR, marketing collateral, newsletters and publications, annual reports, sales support, event management, research, sponsorship assessment and management, corporate and internal communications, and media relations.

Mark is a skilled and experienced writer across all forms of media (news articles, brochures, advertising, letters and emails, web content, scripts, presentations, annual reports, magazines, internal communications) and is skilled in transforming complex information into targeted, effective and compelling messages.

With formal training in design and creative management, Mark understands how effective communications are created from both the written content and the way it is presented.

Mark is experienced in managing and developing multi-disciplinary marketing teams and briefing and managing creative and media agencies. Having managed marketing budgets of up to $20,000,000 dollars, Mark has a reputation for deep media and customer understanding and creative insightfulness that results in successful campaigns.

In terms of corporate communications, Mark has managed the communication process for mergers, integrations and change management. He has also set up global internal communications programs, launched staff magazines (both hardcopy and digital) and intranets and written and produced A/V material.

Mark honed his skills working for blue chip companies including: Bankwest, BT Financial Group, Westpac, Colonial First State, State Bank NSW, St.George Building Society, Solution 6 and smaller organisations including the NSW College of Nursing, HotHouse Interactive and Communications Solutions.

Mark’s formal qualifications include a Master of Design degree from the University of Technology, Sydney, a Graduate Diploma in Design Studies from Sydney College of the Arts, Graduate Diploma in Education from Charles Sturt University, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, BA (Communications) from Mitchell CAE (now Charles Sturt University), and a Direct Marketing Certificate from the Australian Direct Marketing Association.
